1. Az adatkábel a tengerfenéken Taiwannál jobban megsérült, mint gondolták, igy január 20-a előtt nem tudják megjavitani. Szóval addig szar lesz a net. Hurrá...
2. Shanghai egyes területein mostanra sikerült megoldani azt a problémát (állami pénzen, ami azért szép dolog), ami pár területen még előfordult: egy házban csak egy fürdőszoba illetve WC volt, mert régen a ház egy családhoz tartozott, de mára 3-4 is lakhatja. "Ahány szoba, annyi család..."
Szóval egész idáig közösen használták ezeket a helyiségeket...Jó lehetett...De a helyi kormány most upgrade-elte a cuccost. Úgy kinai módra:) Eztán majd a konyhák következnek...
I've just been listening to the news on CCTV9 - the only English speaking channel here (they have quite good document films on China and Shanghai anyway).
1. The data cabel at the bottom of the ocean was ruined more in the eathquaqe and cunami than they had thought so they cannot reapir it before 20th January. So utnil that we still gonna have some problem with internet connection. Great...
2. At some areas in Shanghai they were just renovating some houses on government money (what is actually a nice thing to do), because they did not have separate bathroom and toilet for the families living there. The reason is that these houses used to belong to one family when they were built, so that time one bathroom was enough, but now 3-4 families are occupying the same building (1 room=1family) so they had to share these facilities. Must have been good...
But finally local government sold the problem. So now they can start to work on the kitchens...
3. Azért vannak itt ám jó dolgok is. Például a kormány rájött arra, hogy nem jó az országnak, ha az értelmiségnek nem terentenek megfelelő megélhetést, s ezért a külföldön tanult és tapasztalatot szerzett emberek nem jönnek vissza. Most ez ellen tesznek.
Otthon ez pont forditva van sajnos. Nem is beszélve arról, hogy ahogy hallom, teljesen szétcseszik az egyetlen megmaradt értékünket is: a szellemi tőkét, az iskolarendszert. Nem baj, pár év és lesz egy 3. világ beli ország Európában is. Még a szin is stimmelni fog...
3. But there are also some other nice thoughts. The government has figured out that it is not good for the country if people highly educated and collected experience in foreign countries tend to stay abroad because the lack of interest in moving back. So they are working on to change this.
Well at home it is the opposite way unfortunately. I keep hearing that in Hungary they are ruining the last positive thing we have left: our strength in knowledge and education system. But no worries, at least there will a third world country in Europe also within couple years and the color will match also...
